Join us on an unforgettable journey up Acatenango Volcano, the third-largest in Guatemala! Day 1 entails an exhilarating hike covering 80% of the volcano's terrain, lasting around 6 hours. Witness the awe-inspiring eruptions of Fuego Volcano as you warm up by the campfire at base camp. At night, opt for an optional tour to get up close to Fuego's eruptions (additional cost applies).

Day 2 begins with an early rise at 3:30 am to conquer the remaining 20% of the volcano, reaching the summit in 1.5-2 hours to catch the mesmerizing sunrise. After breakfast at base camp, begin the descent, arriving in Antigua by 1:00 pm. Don't miss this thrilling adventure and the chance to witness nature's power firsthand!

Note: This tour includes climbing Acatenango Volcano. You can opt for a tour to Fuego Volcano for Q300.00 per person, payable in cash to the local guide. Note that this is not part of the standard itinerary, so we don't provide any guarantee or insurance for this additional activity.

    • Large-capacity backpack (50L+) with rain cover. You'll receive food, water bottles, and utensils to pack in your backpack for added comfort during your stay at the base camp. All camping gear, including sleeping bags, will be waiting for you at the base camp. You'll only need to bring the items mentioned above.
